 | Founded in 1991 by Ron Howe (pictured above) as Northgate Music, the original shop was on North Road, Darlington. Ron's vision was to supply both new and second-hand musical equipment, offer repair services as well as tuition. The combination of Ron's well known playing skills, technical knowledge, natural enthusiasm and teaching skills made the shop a popular place for musicians of all types and levels to shop. |
In 1998, with business booming, the decision was made to relocate again to the present location in Blackwellgate. Ron changed the name to 'Ron's Music'. 8 years later, the shop is a thriving enterprise. After being in business 15 years now, Ron is still providing the same quality of service he set out to and the business continues to grow. |  |

Ron's stock a good selection of percussion instruments from full kits to sticks, part or full P.A. rigs, leads, microphones and other accessories.
